Intro to Canning and Review on Wednesday,April20,6-8pm,Free! Learn the basics of how to get started canning at home. A review of the material covered in last year's popular class
Pressure Canning on Wednesday, May 25th, $10, – this always popular class teaches participants how to safely preserve low-acid foods such as vegetables and meats using pressure canners.
Hors d’oeuvres on Wednesday, June 22nd $5– this class will showcase how to create delicious small-bite dishes, perfect for summer parties!
Breadmaking on Wednesday, August 24th $10– participants will learn to make a variety of different breads, from quick breads to yeasted loaves.
Applesauce on Wednesday September 28th $5– MFP volunteer instructors will show participants the best way to make homemade applesauce, various ways of preserving it, and different treats you can make with the finished product!
Loveable Leftovers on Wednesday, October 5th $5– learn how to upcycle leftovers by adding a few extra ingredients to make a tasty new meal, keeping nutrition and cost savings in mind.
